Who should get laser Genesis?

Laser genesis is safe for all skin types and amazing for anyone feeling like your skin is looking dull and needs a boost. It's amazing before an event and even better paired with dermaplaning for a nice exfoliation and better penetration into the skin. Although your skin will look better immediately, the results continue over time, as collagen builds over the month following the treatment. Laser genesis is known for its cumulative effect. Weather your goal is to get active acne under control, soften fine lines, fade scarring, even the skin tone, or calm down redness from rosacea, a series of 4-6 sessions is usually recommended for optimal results. The treatments are best spaced 2-4 weeks apart depending on your skin type and condition.

Laser genesis is recommended for anyone in there mid 20's-30's as a preventative measure, and a its must for women in their late 30's-40's to slow and reverse signs of aging. 

How to Prepare for The Treatment?

You should avoid excessive sun exposure 2 weeks before and after the treatment. Make sure to wear a broad spectrum SPF 30 or higher everyday before and after the treatment (Also, wear SPF everyday) You should avoid excessive sweating from exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and very hot showers for 24 hours post treatment. There is still heat from the laser in your skin so this can cause irritation. 

Is Laser Genesis Painful? 

No. Laser genesis is the most comfortable of all the laser treatments we offer at New York Laser Loft. Certain Areas are more sensitive and it may feel hot, but people often compare it to sunlight in a concentrated area, and many clients even fall asleep during the session.
