Laser Hair Removal Instructions

Before your treatment:

  • No excessive sun on the area for at least 2 weeks before and after your session

    (wait 4 weeks if you had a sunburn on the area)

  • No sunless tanning creams or spray tans 3 weeks prior

  • Please shave the area the night before your appointment

  • No antibiotics for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment

  • No waxing, plucking, or any depilatory creams on the area at least 3 weeks before

  • No medicated topical creams or retinol on the area for at least 5 days prior

  • wait 6 months after completion of accutane before any laser treatments

  • Wear SPF Before and after your treatment to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation

    If treating an area that has had injections the following waiting periods are recommended for a safe treatment:

  • Botox injections- Wait 2 weeks

  • Natural Fillers (e.g. Hyaluronic acid, collagen)- Wait 4-6 weeks

  • Synthetic Fillers (e.g. silicone)- Do not treat this area

Post Care:

  • Avoid excessive sweating or exercise for 24 hours post treatment or until irritation subsides

  • Avoid hot showers, hot baths, steam rooms and saunas for 24 hours post treatment or until irritation subsides

  • Avoid exfoliation/scrubs for 48 hours post treatment
